President Droupadi Murmu today inaugurated the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in Gorakhpur. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

This newly established university will play a vital role in promoting India's traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. It is set to become a landmark institution for medical education and holistic health in eastern Uttar Pradesh and beyond.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated, “This university will not just be a center of education but a living symbol of India’s ancient healing traditions.”
